Who Is Rob?
Bio
Rob Waft was born in a village near York. For 26 years he worked in schools up and down the country, and reached the dizzy heights of being a headteacher. He opened a children’s bookshop/coffee-shop, serving great drinks and brilliant words to the people of Wakefield.
From those humble beginnings, it wasn’t a huge leap to get into writing and certainly no surprise that his work is aimed at children. It is not unusual for him to inflict his writing upon his wife and daughter.
Rob likes to write in his local library as it is the best place to work without being distracted, and being surrounded by a myriad of books is a great motivator
